Discovered fragment foretells fate of burned Church

A remarkable charred fragment of church history has been discovered in a floor vent by the Coniston team at the site as they carefully cleared the area ready for work to commence. The remains of this fragile hymn or prayer book also features an intriguing last line! Was it from the 1881 or the 2001 fire?
