Students to help with Virtual Reality model

Sheerness Dockyard Preservation Trust are currently in discussions with Sheppey College to establish a small group of students from their I.T. course to help take forward a project showing the current Dockyard Church as a Virtual Reality experience.

The building has already been developed in Virtual Reality as a draft 3D model by Trustee Chris Foulds and colleague Rupert Lawrence. Click here to see Chris trying the application.

We are now looking to take this to the next stage and use this technology and software to create a learning interactive application about the building, downloadable by the public which will be developed by the students of Sheppey College with the input of the Trust.
